The Agafay Desert is a natural adventure playground. A popular daytime activity from camp is a camel ride to the adobe village of Douar Nkhila and its palm oasis. Head out on foot on a guided desert walk to a nearby river valley and beyond. Or head out of camp to ride a quad bike on one of the distant Agafay desert trails.

 

For guests who seek to escape the stresses of modern life Nkhila Lodge is a perfect place to literally do nothing! Choose to rest and relax, enjoying the magnificent scenery which surrounds the camp. Unplug and pack away your gadgets, enjoy life as it used to be. Appreciate the sunrise, the sunset, the full moon and the amazing star-filled night skies...

 

For something further afield, day trips are available to Marrakech, the Ourika Valley, Lake Takerkoust, Kik Plateau, Imlil, local Berber markets and the Ouirgane Valley. And for something really different, Nkhila's desert cooking school runs daily workshops for guests who like to cook!
